Kevin grew up in Greenville, SC before receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. Subsequently, Kevin moved to Richmond where he enrolled at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law, serving as President of the Student Bar Association during his third year. Since then, Kevin has concentrated his entire career on representing those injured or wronged by the negligence and misconduct of others.
Kevin is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. In addition to being admitted to practice in all of Virginia’s state courts, Kevin is also admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia as well as the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia.
Kevin has received numerous honors during his career including being named a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2015-2017 and a Virginia Super Lawyer in 2020 and 2021. Rising Stars and Super Lawyers are nominated by their peers in the legal profession and only 2.5%-5% of attorneys are honored as such each year. Kevin has also presented at multiple seminars to other attorneys on topics ranging from jury selection, to issues in regards to obtaining and using various forms of evidence, to general personal injury case handling advice.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys playing with his dog, Sawyer, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and hoping that the University of Georgia football team finds a way to capture an ever elusive National Championship.
