The JBF 2025 Billboard Campaign

Our Mission

Animal Shelters all over the United States are seeing an all-time high in surrenders. They are over capacity, and we want to help. This winter season all of our billboards across the East Coast will be featuring local rescue dogs in need of a home! Some dogs have been in shelters for over 600 days, or require special medical attention, but they all deserve to find a kind, loving home!

Should you decide to expand your home with a furry friend, we hope you consider one of the rescues below.

Other Ways to Help

Helping out and getting involved is easy! Donating your time, resources or simply fostering an animal are all ways to help out and give back to your community.

Fostering: Fostering allows for shelters to free up valuable space and often enables them to continue functioning while at capacity. A foster family can help to improve the likelihood that an animal will be adopted thanks to the additional socialization and training it allows for.

Volunteering: Volunteers are what keep the shelters running and are a vital part to the success of the lifesaving programs shelters deliver to their community’s. Through cleaning, clerical work, enrichment, reward-based training, and community outreach, volunteers help shelters all over the U.S. save thousands and thousands of lives each year.

Donating: All 501(c)(3) shelters listed do not receive any state funding and rely SOLELY on donations and support from the public to remain functioning and are always in need of donations and supplies!  Visit your favorite local shelter’s website for a comprehensive list of supplies they need!

What Rescues Mean to us!

Rescues mean the world to us, from our beloved Bunky to the many animals our employee’s have rescued; fur will forever have a place in our hearts. We are happy to say that we welcome dogs into our Richmond office and should you ever visit us, we hope you see some of their friendly faces!

For the last five years, our offices have raised funds to support dog rescues everywhere. Earlier this year we wrapped up our Third Annual Dog Rescue Fundraiser, aptly named “The Bunky Rescue Calendar” and we are happy to say that together with your involvement we were able to raise over $5,000 for Richmond Animal Care & Control!

This year are lending our voice to help clear out the shelters and getting their long term residents into their forever home. We hope that seeing these happy dogs on our billboards brightens your day and that you consider adopting from one of the above locations!
