Michael Manara, a native of southeastern Pennsylvania, earned his bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University and received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University School of Law. Before starting law school, Mike served as infantry rifleman in the United States Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. During his time in the Marines, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and participated in joint training exercises in both Mozambique and Aruba.
After graduating from law school, Mike began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia where he prosecuted cases including attempted murder, aggravated assault, sexual assault, burglary, robbery, narcotics, and firearms offenses. Mike then transitioned into civil practice where he represented individuals who were sued in auto accident cases and an insurance carrier in coverage disputes. After gaining valuable civil and criminal experience, Mike shifted his focus to representing those who have been catastrophically injured or killed as a result of the negligence and misconduct of others.
Since starting his legal career, Mike has litigated hundreds of cases, including jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and magisterial/municipal hearings, as well as, appellate matters. As a result, Mike has been selected for membership in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and watching Philadelphia sports. Go Birds!
