Kristopher “Kris” Rhodes has dedicated his career to serving others through law enforcement, education, and legal advocacy. With experience as a police officer and criminal justice professor; he brings a well-rounded and informed perspective to his practice. Kris is passionate about fighting for victims of abuse, individuals injured due to negligence, and those wronged by people in positions of power. He approaches every case with strategic precision, deep compassion, and an unwavering commitment to justice—ensuring his clients’ voices are heard and their rights fiercely protected.
He began his career as a police officer in Virginia, serving for 10 years before transitioning into academia. As a criminal justice professor at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, he developed a specialized course on Police Use of Force. He was recognized as an expert speaker on the subject. He also created the Counter Blade Concepts for Law Enforcement program, which he taught at the Rappahannock Criminal Justice Academy.
After two decades out of school, Kris pursued his law degree with the encouragement of his wife, Dina. While balancing full-time work and raising his identical twin boys, Declan and Peyton, he earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., with bar admissions pending in South Carolina and Maryland.
Beyond the courtroom, Kris is a dedicated instructor of Martial Blade Concepts, teaching in the United States and Canada. He cherishes time with his family, enjoys traveling with his wife, and is an active member of New Kent Christian Center.
